Here's another Kindle review: http://lifehacker.com/370333/how-the-kindle-saves-you-time-if-not-money

The reason I mention this one is that it points out a feature that I hadn't really focused on before: Having a Kindle is a form of instant free Interent access wherever you are, much better than surfing on a cell phone!

Today, Yahoo officially rejected Microsoft's offer, saying it undervalued the company. Here's a link to the NYT story, which analyzes possible future developments, and also provides a little background on the man at Microsoft who is spear-heading the effort: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/11/technology/11cnd-yahoo.html?_r=1&ref=business&oref=slogin

Back in September, 2007, Karen Schneider wrote a thought provoking analysis of Wikipedia's editorial policies. The article, titled is "Wikipedia's Awkward Adolescence," is well worth reading, and is located here: http://www.cio.com/article/141650/Wikipedia_s_Awkward_Adolescence

This is a VERY interesting development, and one that could certainly have implications for our statewide downloadable audiobook project, not to mention Carolyn's proposal. We will certainly want to follow developments closely.
